In the heart of Oregon wine country, a historic church in Dayton has been beautifully restored and is now a restaurant and event space called Brick Hall 1886.

Step through Brick Hall’s interior doors, painted in Volute | H0062, to a welcoming and open gathering space that serves fresh pasta dishes and fare inspired by local farm ingredients.
Described on Brick Hall’s website as a “charming dining room with lofty windows, warm woods and soaring ceilings,” this airy space seats up to 50 guests and features creamy Mushroom | R012 walls, vintage brick, and a bar painted with Volute | H0062.

Whether you’re dining in the space during restaurant hours or enjoying a private event at Brick Hall, you’ll notice that the Mushroom | R012 walls strike a balance between warmth and brightness. We chose this earthy neutral for our 2024 Color of the Year because it is a beautiful backdrop for living- from lively gatherings to intimate conversations.

Volute | H0062 is an inviting accent color on Brick Hall’s bar, and looks incredible paired with the warm wood tones of the space. This 2024 Color Trend hue is cool and refreshing, and begs you to jump in and stay awhile.

Wander towards the back of the building and you’ll find an artful display of locally sourced preserved vegetables, a nod to Brick Hall’s commitment “to celebrating and advocating for the small growers down the road, along with the foragers, fisheries, ranchers and vignerons who steward a changing earth.”

Framed historic mementos from the early days of the building, and a little seating area in Brick Hall’s back hallway are pleasantly surrounded by Winter Wood | R027 wainscoting and Mushroom | R012 walls.
