About Miller Paint Store Positions:
Miller Paint’s Store Positions are responsible for supporting Miller Paint’s customers by providing outstanding service. Responsibilities include assisting professional and retail customers both in person and over the phone by determining the right products for a project, offering color & design advice, accurately tinting and mixing paint orders, correctly processing sales transactions, regularly stocking shelves, unloading warehouse orders, and make deliveries if necessary. Additional responsibilities for managers include training, staffing, inventory management, financial reporting.
Miller Paint values a work/life balance. Our shifts are between the hrs of 7am-6pm Monday - Friday and Saturdays 8am-4pm. Our stores are closed on Sundays.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to distinguish the differences between colors
- Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone
- High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in home improvement, retail, or customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Interest in home improvement, color&design, local manufacturing
- Driver’s License
- Spanish speakers encouraged to apply
